The hydraulic Igloo machines can be integrated with accessories such as Sherpa conveyors, , feeders, hoppers and manipulators to improve productivity, reduce the physical workload of operators and optimize safety. All Igloo splitters can be configured in Steinex production lines as primary or secondary splitters depending on the model and desired final product. The customer can configure the Igloo machine with the standard hydraulic unit or with more powerful ones of 11kw or 15kw. Steinex manufactures a series of Igloo-Sherpa compact plants thanks to which the customer can find the perfect solution to suit their production needs.
IGLOO 400-480-500-600 + SHERPA T4 models
Steinex is always attentive to how the machine operator workstation is arranged. For this reason, it created compact plant models by combining the hydraulic press with a heavy-duty flat steel slat conveyor belt.
IGLOO 480-500-600 + SHERPA BT models
Igloo+Sherpa BT compact plants are the perfect solution for loading single blocks by means of a forklift or crane on the conveyor belt.

The Broadway+Sherpa lines are designed for splitting stone with two even faces or with two sawn surfaces.

MENHIR+SHERPA 3RB AND 6 RB SERIES

ASSEMBLED LINES FOR SPLITTING STONES
The Menhir range of splitting machines are mainly used as a primary machine for splitting rough blocks and for obtaining semi-finished goods that can then be sent with Sherpa T conveyors to the Igloo 500 or 600 machines which will then split the semi-finished goods into pieces suitable for the production of cubes or wall stones with the Igloo 240 or Igloo 320. The Steinex technical department is available to configure, together with the customer, customised lines and systems that meet their each and every need. Lastly, the Menhir+Sherpa models can be used alone for the production of large blocks and wall stones to be dry-laid in landscaping projects and green areas.
