Manipulators manufactured by Steinex are vital accessories in the monipulation of both shapeless and regular-shaped heavy workpieces. They are easy to use and combine power and precision, two factors that make them unique. They are essential to ensure worker safety as well as to achieve high production performance; the operator will be able to push, turn, rotate, position and move parts without any physical effort.
The MP600 and MP820 manipulators are integrated into the IGLOO 500, IGLOO 600 and IGLOO 640 models and related IGLOO-SHERPA compact systems. They allow parts arriving from the Sherpa conveyor to be manipulated and positioned at the desired location under the blade of the Igloo. They are operated by console equipped with joysticks and can lift parts over 600 kg in weight.
MP1000 manipulators and M-PRO proportional manipulators are integrated into Menhir 1000 models and related Menhir-Sherpa systems. They enable the manipulation of large blocks arriving from the BT or BC Sherpa belts and their positioning at the desired point under the blade of the Menhir presses. The high power allows handling of parts weighing several tons. They can be installed individually or in pairs on the Menhir structure.
