In geology, there are three main types of rock based on their origin: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.

Within these large groups, depending on the geological formation, we can find:

Monolith stones (A)

The monolith stones are extracted in large blocks which, depending on the shape and size, are sent to the next stage of the production process.

A1) splitting natural monolith stones
A2) splitting monolith stones sawed on two planes 
A3) splitting monolith stones sawed on 4-6 faces.

Stratified rocks (B).

MONOLITHIC STONES  :

Basalt, Diorite, Andesite, Trachyte, Gabbro, Labradorite, Porphirite, Syenite, Sandstone, Limestone, Dolomite, Serizzo, Marble, Travertine, Lava, Rhyolites, Breccia, Phyllite, Other monolithic stones.

STRATIFIED STONES​: Slate, Stratified sandstones, Schist basalt, Stratified gneiss, gneiss, quartzite, Stratified porphyry, Serpentine, Schist
